Feliz Navidad!

Tonight during pre-bedtime play, Poppy asked Basti: Donde esta Mommy?  And Basti pointed at me and said "Mama!".

!!!!!!!!!

Just to make sure that's what he really meant we asked him where his nose, the giraffe, and monkey were (the animals are decals on his bedroom wall), and then repeated "Donde esta Mommy?"  He pointed at me said "Mama" again!

YEY!!!  Awesome Christmas!

Previously, he usually says "mama" when he really wants something and is pointing at it.

Christmas eve we hosted dinner for aunties and uncles.  We were running a little late on the cooking, but fortunately Basti took a late second nap so he was ok staying up a little later than usual.

Poppy got Basti his first Germany jersey so he is ready for World Cup.

This was a record setting warm Christmas day.  Took Basti to the park for a bit to enjoy the warm weather, he was more interested in picking up sticks and leaves than climbing the play structure.

Basti continues to practice standing up on his own and taking a few steps here and there.  Crawling is faster.
