Homecoming

On with the story before I forget everything, time is going by quick!

We brought Sebastian home to Petaluma a little after he turned 1 day old.  We showed him around his new home, changed him out of his hospital shirt into a Dortmund onesie (Philipp's favorite German football team). Sebastian took a little nap in his crib and he nursed on the glider.

Once we were comfortable and settled, we called for Maja.  Uncle T and Auntie S came over with our little furry baby.  She was very excited to see us.  We said our hellos, gave her hugs and kisses, and a new toy.  Then we brought Sebastian out for her to meet him (and for Uncle and Auntie to meet him too).  Maja was curious but didn't go crazy.  She licked Sebastian's feet and was very cool about it, as if she always knew he would join our pack...  which she probably did.  Maja has been very sweet with Sebastian, but we always keep a watchful eye on them.

A little over a week later, we introduced Sebastian to the big dogs.  They were going crazy trying to look into the stroller.  Takoda was especially super protective.  Except for Philipp and me, he growled at  any humans and dogs trying to get close to the stroller, which was quite intimidating as the growling could get very loud at times.  Sebastian slept through the whole ruckus.
